Within the framework of the 45th Vitrina Turística ANATO, the third edition of ANATO Capacita Tech will take place, a space designed to strengthen the technological and strategic capabilities of tourism professionals. This academic forum is consolidating itself as a key platform, and by 2026, it is estimated that more than 2,000 business owners will have received training, representing a 14% increase compared to 2025, when 1,758 professionals participated.

“Since the inception of the Vitrina Turística ANATO in 1982, and for over four decades, the event has established itself not only as the ideal setting for doing business, establishing relationships, and forging strategic alliances among industry stakeholders, but also as a training platform. It is for this reason that, starting in 2024, we implemented ANATO Capacita Tech, so that business owners can strengthen their knowledge and boost their tourism businesses,” commented Paula Cortés Calle, Executive President of ANATO.

In the 2026 edition, the academic program will feature 30-minute talks with highly qualified professionals from institutions such as Universidad Externado de Colombia, Incocrédito, Turismo al Derecho, ATTA, and Universidad de la Sabana. The topics will focus on marketing and digital transformation, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, tourism trends, legality, and security—essential subjects for businesses to stay ahead of global tourism trends.

ANATO Capacita Tech Edition saw significant growth in participation, increasing from 752 attendees in 2024 to over 1,700 in 2025, representing a 134% increase. “These figures reflect the growing interest of professionals in adopting technological tools that enhance their competitiveness, and we at the Association want to continue contributing to the training, innovation, and digital transformation of travel agencies and stakeholders in the sector's value chain,” stated the Association's president.
