According to official information, the airline transported 158,688 point-to-point passengers during the month of January. This figure does not include connecting passengers within its network of destinations, so the actual total number of passengers carried exceeded 175,000, a threshold the company has reached for the first time since it began operations.

“2026 started as expected, with extraordinary numbers in January for both operations and sales. February also projects very positive results, so we remain optimistic about the performance of this first quarter of the year. We continue to focus on making the Dominican Republic the new air hub of the continent,” said Víctor Pacheco, founder and CEO of Arajet.

According to data from the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), Arajet ranked as the fourth airline with the highest passenger volume in the Dominican market in January, behind only JetBlue, American Airlines, and Delta Air Lines. However, when connecting passengers are included, the airline rises to third place, consolidating its position among the top three passenger carriers in the country for the seventh consecutive month.

Arajet also reaffirmed its leadership among Dominican airlines. In January, the company transported 91.2% of passengers who flew on domestic airlines, also setting a historic record for market share.

In this segment, Sky High Aviation Services accounted for 4.4% of the total passengers transported by Dominican airlines, Air Century 2.2%, and Red Air 1.8%.

These results consolidate Arajet's sustained growth and strengthen its regional expansion strategy, aimed at expanding its route network, increasing frequencies and continuing to position the Dominican Republic as a key air connection hub in the region.
