Europamundo presented its new Optional City Packages, a proposal designed to optimize trip planning and ensure advance confirmation of visits and activities in some of the most sought-after destinations on the continent.
In a world where access to monuments, museums, and iconic attractions increasingly requires advance planning, the company is strengthening its service with a flexible solution integrated into its booking system. The packages are now available and can be booked when reserving the tour or later, always before the start of the trip.
One of the main advantages of this option is its customizable nature: passengers can choose only the city they are interested in, without needing to purchase any optional extras for the entire itinerary. Even within the same booking, each traveler can select different packages according to their preferences, allowing the experience to be tailored to different profiles.
The program is already operating in major European capitals such as Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Stockholm, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Rome, Venice, and Vienna. Experiences include a visit to the Acropolis and dinner in Plaka in Athens, guided tours of the Sagrada Familia and the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, day trips to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril from Lisbon, visits to the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre in Paris, gondola rides in Venice, access to the Vatican Museums in Rome, and waltz concerts in Vienna, among other activities.
All proposals include comprehensive programs with pre-arranged tickets and services, minimizing unexpected issues during the trip. For travel agents, the tool facilitates the presentation of complementary offers from the outset of the sales process, helping clients to plan their free time more effectively.
Packages are managed independently of the contracted tour and can be quoted directly through the company's website or via the booking system with the local representative. From an operational standpoint, advance confirmation also allows Europamundo to more accurately plan the availability of guides, transportation, and access points, avoiding cancellations due to lack of space at the destination.
The company emphasized that this development responds to the need to add value to the distribution channel and provide peace of mind to passengers in an increasingly demanding tourism environment. With this initiative, Europamundo aims to strengthen pre-trip planning and service quality, focusing on solutions that keep pace with the evolution of the European package travel market.
