The Cultural Tourism Cluster of Córdoba, in conjunction with the Montería Chamber of Commerce, is participating in the ANATO Tourism Showcase with the aim of consolidating the department's positioning as a destination based on authentic experiences, cultural identity and sensory richness.
As part of the fair, on February 26 and 27, the "Córdoba, the Caribbean of the Senses" activation will take place, a space designed to showcase the region's diversity to the national market. This initiative will highlight the department's cultural heritage, promote the Sazón Córdoba gastronomic strategy, and present priority tourism products, including the routes in the municipality of Tierralta.
Participation in ANATO is envisioned as a key platform to strengthen the narrative of Córdoba as a destination that integrates culture, nature and tradition, with special emphasis on segments such as cultural, gastronomic and experiential tourism.
As part of its promotional agenda, the cluster is also promoting the second edition of “Sazón Córdoba”, scheduled for September 11 and 12, 2026. The event seeks to highlight the culinary identity of the department, strengthen the gastronomic value chain and boost regional tourism.
The institutional presence will also include the participation of more than 12 businesses from the sector—including agencies, tour operators, and hotels—who will be part of the business showcase at the Córdoba stand. These participants were selected through the “Córdoba te forma, tú transformas” program, led by the Córdoba Governor's Office and aimed at improving the competitiveness and quality of the tourism offerings, with support from the tourism cluster.
The Montería Chamber of Commerce highlighted that the participation reflects the collaboration between the public and private sectors and the territory's commitment to tourism as an engine of economic development and generation of opportunities for local communities.
The cluster manager, Lina Fernanda Vera Cruz, noted that the presence at the showcase holds special significance for the department, following the recent effects of the rainy season and flooding. She indicated that the objective is to display a resilient territory that maintains its strengths in biodiversity, culture, gastronomy, and the hospitality of its people.
The representative maintained that, despite weather conditions, Córdoba continues to offer a diverse and vibrant tourism sector, and that tourism is becoming a key driver of economic recovery for numerous communities. She also stated that the event aims to instill confidence in the market and reaffirm that the department remains ready to welcome visitors, forge business partnerships, and offer unique experiences within the national tourism landscape.
