Carrasco Airport was awarded Best in Latin America and the Caribbean

Carrasco International Airport was recognized as the Best Airport in Latin America and the Caribbean 2025, in the 2 to 5 million passenger category, by the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Program awarded by the Airports Council International.

This award positions it among the best rated in the region, standing out for its overall performance in key dimensions, such as service quality, comfort, processes and staff attention.

ASQ is the world's leading airport experience measurement program and is based on direct passenger feedback, obtained through surveys conducted using a scientific methodology and carried out in real time with travelers during their time at airports.

It is especially valuable because it comes directly from passenger feedback. In the 2025 edition of the program, nearly 707,000 passengers were surveyed worldwide, solidifying ASQ as the leading global benchmark for traveler experience.

This is the second time that Carrasco Airport has won the award in the 2 to 5 million passenger category, a distinction it had already received in 2019, and it adds to the fact that in 2024 it received the distinction of Best Airport in Latin America and the Caribbean in the category of air terminals of up to 2 million passengers.

This award reaffirms Aeropuertos Uruguay's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, consolidating its role as the country's main air gateway and as a regional benchmark in passenger experience.
