The Mundo Maya Tourism Fair will be held in Mérida, Yucatán, as a strategic platform aimed at consolidating the Mundo Maya region on the international stage. The event will take place at the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center and will bring together authorities, business leaders, tour operators, and representatives from the cultural sector.

The fair will seek to position the ancestral Mayan heritage as a cornerstone of sustainable tourism development, promoting experiences that integrate heritage, nature, gastronomy, local communities, and innovation. The event will mark a new stage of regional collaboration, with the goal of forging strategic alliances, attracting investment, and expanding the presence of the Mayan World in international markets.

Delegations from Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador will participate, along with the Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, and Yucatán, who will present their tourism offerings, themed routes, community projects, and cultural products.

The program will include trade exhibition spaces, business meetings, academic forums and cultural activities, with a focus on professional exchange and building a common agenda for the development of responsible tourism in the region.

With this initiative, Yucatán will seek to reaffirm its role as a strategic host of the Mayan World and as a destination prepared to respond to the new demands of the international traveler, who prioritizes authentic, sustainable experiences with cultural identity.
