St. Pete-Clearwater’s beaches and experiences recognized among the best in the U.S. and worldwide

St. Pete-Clearwater once again earned major recognition in the 2026 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice “Best of the Best” Awards, a ranking that highlights the top 1% of destinations and experiences worldwide based on traveler reviews and ratings.

Clearwater Beach was named one of the Best Beaches in the World, becoming the only Florida beach and one of just three in the United States to make the global list. It also ranked among the top beaches in the U.S.

Honeymoon Island State Park secured a position within the Top 10 Best Beaches in the U.S., reinforcing the destination’s reputation for pristine white-sand beaches and emerald waters.

Recognition extended beyond the shoreline. Get Up and Go Kayaking at Shell Key was named the #1 Nature and Outdoor Activity in the U.S., ranking #2 globally. Little Toot Dolphin Adventure was included among the Top 5 Sailing and Day Cruises in the country.

In the culinary sector, OCC Roadhouse ranked #3 among Pet-Friendly Restaurants in the U.S., while Caretta on the Gulf became the only Florida restaurant to enter the Top 15 Best Fine Dining Restaurants nationwide.

Additionally, JW Marriott Clearwater Beach was recently included in the 2026 Forbes Travel Guide, following a MICHELIN Guide recommendation and recognition in the 2025 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
