Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley receives Forbes Five-Star rating for the fourth consecutive year

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley has once again been awarded a Five-Star rating by Forbes Travel Guide, achieving this recognition for the fourth consecutive year at the Star Awards, now in their 68th edition. The property thus remains among the select group of luxury hotels that consistently maintain the organization's highest rating.

The resort, located in Calistoga, was described by Forbes Travel Guide as “a haven in a flawless, productive vineyard,” referring to the 1.9-hectare organic cabernet sauvignon vineyard that sits at the heart of the resort’s 9.1-hectare estate.

Wine experiences and high-level gastronomy

The recognition coincides with a remarkable year for the resort's culinary offerings. Sommelier Derek Stevenson was named a 2026 James Beard Foundation semifinalist in the Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service category, highlighting the resort's wine expertise and specialized service.

The culinary offerings are headlined by Auro, Calistoga's only Michelin-starred restaurant, complemented by TRUSS Restaurant + Bar, serving Mediterranean-American cuisine all day, and Campo, offering casual poolside dining. Additionally, Elusa Winery, whose wines are crafted by renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, offers "vine-to-glass" tastings without leaving the property.

The resort's general manager, Robby Delaney, highlighted that the distinction reflects "the team's commitment to every detail of the guest experience" and reaffirmed the intention to continue offering personalized hospitality at the destination.

Accommodation and wellness in the heart of the vineyard

The resort features 85 rooms and suites, as well as villas and private residences—some with pools and jacuzzis—integrated into the natural landscape and offering views of the Palisades Mountains. The wellness offerings are centered around Spa Talisa, which features vineyard-inspired treatments and experiences for couples.

Its facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, a gym, a bocce court, and a children's activity area. It also offers exclusive experiences such as Dream Drives and personalized tours of regional wineries, geared towards both romantic getaways and family trips.

From Forbes Travel Guide, Amanda Frasier, president of standards and ratings, noted that the award-winning hotels represent contemporary excellence in luxury, combining authentic experiences, wellness, and high-level services.

With this new distinction, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley consolidates its position as one of the benchmarks of premium hospitality in California's wine region and as a privileged gateway to discover the destination.
