The Tree of Diversity will be the meeting point for all regions. A grand digital display, with which the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (MinCIT) will participate in the 45th ANATO Tourism Showcase 2026.

This experience unfolds around its trunk, located in the center of the stand, which will gradually generate different atmospheres, immersing visitors in the diversity of our country, its nature, gastronomy, and culture.

The roots of the tree will be nourished with images from all regions and the ancestral knowledge of their communities; this trunk symbolizes the work, unity and collective construction that sustains the country and its branches open as routes towards multiple experiences.

“For this edition of the Anato Showcase, we envisioned a space that invites visitors to experience a wide range of activities that reflect the diverse beauty of Colombia. This richness distinguishes us as a unique destination in the world. Under the current administration, tourism is understood as a development tool that originates in the regions, recognizes their cultures, and strengthens opportunities for communities,” stated the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Tourism, Diana Marcela Morales.

In this regard, the ANATO Tourism Showcase is the ideal platform to advance the strengthening of local regions, boost local economies, and expand the tourism offerings of regions throughout the country. For this reason, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, through Fontur, supports the participation of regional and industry associations through 17 tourism promotion projects, with an investment of $14.1 billion and 4,808 square meters of exhibition space, ensuring an effective tool for promoting the country.

The Ministry's participation in this important meeting is part of a comprehensive vision of the tourism ecosystem, promoted by the Government of Change, which goes beyond promotion and articulates infrastructure, competitiveness, sustainability, innovation, training, production chains and the Popular Economy.

This commitment is reflected in the presence of all 32 departments, as well as in the special support given to strategic districts and municipalities to highlight the diversity of every corner of the country.

"All the activities at the ANATO 2026 Showcase are aimed at generating business, strengthening local areas, and consolidating tourism as a key sector for the country's economic and social development, as Minister Diana Marcela Morales has instructed us, under the strategy 'Discover the Diversity of Colombia, the Land of Beauty,'" stated the Acting Vice Minister of Tourism, Juan Sebastián Sánchez.

In addition, the ministry will have five strategic exhibition spaces, designed to highlight the main axes of the sector: Tourism Network of Heritage Towns, Tourism with Purpose, Excellence Colombia, Tourism Territories of Peace and Colombia at the Table.

Thus, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism continues to advance in a comprehensive vision of tourism that articulates promotion, competitiveness and sustainability, and that positions the Country of Beauty as a diverse and competitive destination.
