What are Meliá's expectations for ANATO 2026?

Colombia has historically been one of our most important source markets in the region, both for tour operators and groups. ANATO allows us to strengthen our relationships with partners not only in Colombia, but throughout Latin America.

Each year we see a greater presence of markets such as Brazil, Argentina and Chile, which consolidates this fair as a key regional meeting point.

What are the main strategic developments for 2026?

We have several exciting new developments. In Punta Cana, we're launching "Fun Republic," an entertainment zone developed in the former Katmandu Park. It includes food trucks, mini-golf, an obstacle course, areas for children and teenagers, a climbing wall, and family spaces. It's included for guests of our five properties in the area and serves as an extension of the hotel experience.

In addition, the complex features the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, with five tennis courts, four padel courts and six pickleball courts, consolidating the destination's sporting offering.

In Mexico, one of the most important milestones is the reopening of the Paradisus Cancún on April 1st, following a renovation exceeding $50 million. This iconic hotel, renowned for its architecture and service, returns with completely modernized rooms, a new culinary offering, renovated pools, and significant improvements to its event infrastructure, including an additional ballroom with state-of-the-art technology.

What other projects stand out in the company's roadmap?

In Peru, we began operating the Cusco La Pacha hotel on January 1st. Located in the historic center, it has 167 rooms and is currently the second largest hotel in Cusco. It is projected to become an INNSiDE by Meliá in the medium term.

The company also owns INNSiDE Miraflores (140 rooms) and Meliá Lima in San Isidro (180 rooms). A five-star Meliá Collection will soon be added in Lima's historic center, which will be the first luxury hotel in that area.

Another strategic market is Roatán, where we've been operating the Hotel Media Luna since last November. It's traditionally a strong destination for the United States and Canada, but our goal is to position it in the Latin American market as well, which today is looking to explore alternatives beyond the Mexican Caribbean and the Dominican Republic.

In Punta Cana, what is the current composition of the resort's offering?

We have five distinct hotels. Zel Punta Cana stands out, a collaboration with Rafa Nadal, a 190-room all-suite lifestyle hotel focused on wellness and sports activities.

We also have brands like Paradisus —with a strong positioning in luxury—, Meliá Caribe and Meliá Punta Cana Beach (adults only), each with specific proposals according to the traveler profile.

What are the main source markets for Punta Cana today?

The United States remains the top market, followed by Canada. Argentina currently ranks third as a source market, which has been a pleasant surprise given its sustained growth, and Colombia is in fourth place.

In terms of preferences, the US and Canadian markets mostly opt for Meliá brands, while the Argentine market shows a strong inclination towards more luxurious products such as Paradisus and superior category suites.

What is the next phase of the international promotion schedule?

Following ANATO, we will participate in DATE in the Dominican Republic, WTM in São Paulo, and other strategic trade shows such as FIT in Buenos Aires and Fitur in Madrid, where we already had a presence this year. Our sales team maintains an active schedule at all the major international events in the sector.
