CATA developed a promotional and business tour in Germany together with a delegation of tourism companies from Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama, with strategic meetings in Wiesbaden and Munich aimed at strengthening the regional presence in one of the most relevant European markets for international tourism.
The roadshows brought together tour operators, travel agencies and key players in the German tourism sector, creating spaces for direct exchange that allowed the presentation of the diversity of experiences that Central America offers, from nature and living culture to specialized products such as adventure, sustainability and community tourism.
As part of the preparation for this commercial action, CATA, in alliance with ARGE, developed a training day aimed at the participating Central American companies, focused on German market trends, marketing strategies and adaptation of tourism products to the expectations of the European traveler.
The regional business delegation actively participated in B2B meetings designed to generate new business opportunities, consolidate alliances, and position Central America as a competitive, authentic, and accessible destination within the German market's tourism product portfolio.
These actions are part of the international promotion strategy driven by CATA and will culminate with regional participation in ITB Berlin, which will be held from March 3 to 5, where Central America will continue to strengthen its visibility and trade relations with the global tourism industry.
