Aruba continues to solidify its position in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) sector through a strategy that combines a presence in key markets, product renewal, and the development of distinctive experiences. Together with the Aruba Convention Bureau (ACB) and its local partners, the island is introducing a range of new offerings designed to strengthen its international competitiveness.
International agenda and promotion in key markets
The Aruba Convention Bureau team anticipates active participation in events and sales activations targeting meeting planners in Latin America and Europe. In the coming months, the destination will be present on April 29-30 in Argentina, May 4-7 in Colombia, and August 3-7 in Brazil, in collaboration with hotel partners and Destination Management Companies (DMCs). The goal is to strengthen ties with strategic partners and continue positioning the island as an ideal location for corporate meetings and incentive travel.
Complete renovation at the Aruba Marriott Resort
The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino completed a multimillion-dollar renovation at the end of 2025, encompassing all 414 of its rooms and suites. The update introduced a contemporary design inspired by the island's natural beauty, featuring a palette of sand and aquamarine tones, floor-to-ceiling windows, and updated furnishings that blend elegance with Caribbean warmth.
The bathrooms were redesigned with a spa-like concept, incorporating double marble sinks, backlit mirrors, and glass waterfall showers. Likewise, the Mandara Spa—the largest on the island—was modernized with new relaxation areas, saunas, and treatment rooms, strengthening its appeal for groups and incentive trips.
Venues with identity and historical value
The selection of unique spaces includes options that combine heritage and versatility. House No. 17 in Anna Catharina, located in Oranjestad and built in the early 19th century, offers an intimate, climate-controlled environment for small meetings, workshops, and personalized gatherings. The venue allows for collaboration with external suppliers and the use of outdoor areas, adapting to various formats.
Gasparito Aruban Estate by The Little One, meanwhile, presents an open-air setting where island tradition blends with contemporary elegance. Just minutes from the high-rise hotel zone, the venue integrates heritage architecture—including a cunucu house built in 1807—with gardens and terraces that can accommodate between 20 and 500 guests for both social and corporate events.
Nautical experiences for incentives and groups
In the DMC segment, De Palm Tours added the Fortunata, a Lagoon 400 catamaran designed for exclusive experiences at sea. With spacious decks, shaded areas, and onboard service, the vessel is positioned as an attractive option for team-building activities, private celebrations, and incentive programs overlooking the Aruban coast.
Well-being as a strategic complement
The wellness component is also gaining prominence with the opening of a new Blue Space Body & Mind Wellness studio in Palm Beach. The studio offers Pilates reformer, hot yoga, and red and infrared light therapy sessions, as well as customized retreats for corporate groups. These experiences can be integrated into incentive programs and events, in coordination with hotels and event planners, adding value to the stay.
With these initiatives, Aruba reinforces its position as a comprehensive destination for meetings tourism, combining renewed infrastructure, spaces with character, experiential proposals and an active promotional agenda in strategic markets.
