More than 100 travel agents participated in a day in Lima dedicated to learning about the latest developments and experiences in Argentine tourism, in a meeting organized by AJL REPS, a tourism representation company based in Bogotá with a presence in New York that works connecting brands and destinations with the markets of Latin America, Spain and the Hispanic market of the United States.
The event, held on March 10 at the Nhow Lima Hotel, combined a training session and a business round, allowing industry professionals to learn in detail about different destinations, products and experiences that Argentina offers to international travelers.
The activity was promoted by Visit Argentina – INPROTUR, together with the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Peru, the Government of Misiones and the Argentine Chamber of Tourism, who presented part of the country's tourist diversity, from nature and adventure destinations to cultural, gastronomic and urban proposals.
During the day, local tour operators were able to exchange information with representatives of the destination, learn about new developments in the Argentine tourism offerings, and explore opportunities to incorporate new experiences into their product portfolio for the Peruvian market.
