1. You took over at Estancia Peuma Hue two months ago. What were your first priorities upon assuming the position?

The first few weeks were mainly about observation and getting to know the essence of the project. Estancia Peuma Hue has a very strong identity, deeply connected to nature and a very warm hospitality. My initial focus was on streamlining some operational processes, starting to work more intensively on the business strategy, and, above all, integrating myself with the team. In a place like this, the team is key to making the experience truly work.

2. How are you preparing to develop the MICE tourism segment?

We see great potential in small corporate gatherings. Today, many companies are looking for unique spaces to meet, escape the urban environment, and work in a more inspiring setting. Peuma Hue has much to offer in this regard: privacy, nature, and activities that work very well for team-building exercises or leadership retreats. Our idea is to focus on small groups, where the experience truly makes a difference.

3. What type of visitors usually choose the accommodation and what profile are you looking to promote this year?

The typical guest at Peuma Hue is someone seeking nature, tranquility, and an authentic Patagonian experience. Historically, we've welcomed many international travelers, especially from the United States and Europe, who stay for several days and want to explore the surrounding area. This year, we're also focusing more on the regional and Argentinian market, where we're seeing increasing interest in these kinds of experiences.

4. What role do agencies play today in hotel marketing and how do you work with them?

Travel agencies remain very important to us. A large portion of our guests arrive through tour operators specializing in nature travel or more personalized experiences. We work closely with them: we ensure they have a thorough understanding of the accommodation, grasp the concept, and can effectively communicate it to their clients.

5. What are the main objectives for 2026 in terms of occupancy and positioning?

Rather than aggressive growth, our goal is to grow well. We want to establish Peuma Hue as one of the most authentic nature experiences near San Carlos de Bariloche, maintaining a balance between occupancy and the quality of the experience. It's a place that thrives when its scale and rhythm are respected.

6. What difference do you think Peuma Hue has compared to other establishments in the region?

I think what makes Peuma Hue different is that it's not a traditional hotel experience. It's a retreat immersed in nature, where guests truly disconnect. There are trails, forest, a lake, tranquility, and a very personal style of hospitality. This creates a very different experience from the more typical offerings in the region.

7. The estate has a strong connection with nature. What specific policies or actions are you promoting in terms of sustainability?

The connection with nature has been in the project's DNA from the very beginning. We work hard on the responsible use of resources, keeping the environment as pristine as possible, and promoting low-impact activities. We also place great emphasis on gastronomy featuring local and seasonal products. The idea is that our visitors can enjoy this environment, but also understand the value of preserving it.
