In January 2026, 6,875 weekly direct flights were recorded in the domestic market, representing a 45.4% increase compared to January 2025, when 4,727 flights were recorded. Currently, seven airlines operate in the domestic market, with Avianca holding the largest share, accounting for 43% of weekly flights. In total, the domestic air network comprises 232 routes connecting 61 cities, strengthening territorial integration and facilitating access to diverse tourist destinations and economic centers.

Regarding international connectivity, 1,564 weekly direct flights were recorded in January 2026, representing a slight decrease of 0.5% compared to the same month in 2025. This offering exceeds 296,000 seats per week, connecting Colombia with 30 countries through 116 international routes. This is fundamental for boosting visitor arrivals, strengthening trade ties, and continuing to position the country as a competitive destination in the global tourism arena.

“The growth in the domestic market demonstrates a significant expansion in the country's internal connectivity capacity, while, despite the marginal variation in the international market, the supply of international flights remains robust and maintains a wide availability of connections,” stated Paula Cortés Calle, Executive President of ANATO.
