GUEXT invites the solutions and services sector for the hospitality industry from October 15th to 17th
The International Hospitality Suppliers and Services Show announces the start of sales for its second edition, which will be held in Madrid
The international trade fair GUEXT, specializing in suppliers and services for the hospitality sector, announced the opening of sales for its second edition, which will take place from October 15 to 17 at IFEMA MADRID.
The event is organized by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with FELAC, the Spanish Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of Machinery for the Hospitality, Catering, and Related Industries. Held biennially under the motto "The right place, the right time," GUEXT will once again bring together the main players in the hospitality industry.
The fair brings together seven major sectors: equipment and machinery, tableware, design and decoration, technology and digitalization, coffee, tea, bakery, pastry and ice cream, logistics and packaging, and gym and spa. These segments will be connected with the distribution network and the end customer, with the aim of consolidating the event as a commercial and professional platform focused on driving the development of the entire hospitality industry.
The 2026 edition will take place in a favorable context for the sector. According to the special report “The Hospitality and Catering Market”, prepared by the DBK Sector Observatory of INFORMA, the sector's business registered growth of between 5% and 7%, driven by the evolution of private consumption and the increase in demand for tourism and social and healthcare services.
Furthermore, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics, the hospitality sector in Spain reached a figure of 1.83 million workers last year, reflecting the economic and social weight of this industry in the country.
The first edition of GUEXT was held between October 18 and 21, 2024, and brought together 7,000 professionals from 42 countries. On that occasion, more than 130 exhibitors participated, representing the entire hospitality value chain, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and improving the customer experience.
