Emerging Travel Group (ETG), a leading international travel technology company and operator of the RateHawk, Roundtrip, and ZenHotels brands, announces a new direct integration with Meliá Hotels International, one of Europe's largest hotel groups. This alliance represents a key boost to ETG's global expansion strategy, strengthening its ability to offer its professional partners a broader, more diversified, and more competitive portfolio.

Thanks to this partnership, ETG incorporates more than 400 Meliá hotels across 40 countries, including strategic destinations such as Spain, Italy, France, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Dominican Republic. Emerging Travel Group incorporates Meliá's nine brands: Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts, ME by Meliá, The Meliá Collection, Paradisus by Meliá, Meliá Hotels & Resorts, Zel, INNSiDE by Meliá, Sol by Meliá, and Affiliated by Meliá.

For Meliá, the agreement strengthens its international distribution capabilities, providing direct access to ETG's RateHawk brand, a network of nearly 120,000 B2B travel professionals, including retail agents, tour operators, and API partners, across 190 markets. The integration, now implemented through Meliá's direct API, will enable real-time availability and fares, faster and more reliable booking processes, flexible payment methods, marketing tools, and enhanced support.

“For Meliá Hotels International, this alliance with Emerging Travel Group represents a significant step in our strategy to strengthen global distribution through high-performance technology partners. The direct connection will allow us to offer thousands of professionals faster and more competitive access to our brands, reinforcing our presence in key markets,” commented Natalia Paszkowska, Senior Account Manager, responsible for the ETG global account at MHI.

“The direct integration of Meliá’s diverse portfolio expands the range of high-end accommodation options available to our B2B partners worldwide. Having access to this type of offering is essential for agents serving high-value travelers seeking luxury hotels, top-tier services, and exclusive experiences. The direct connection to Meliá’s portfolio allows travel agents to better meet these expectations while attracting strong demand from high-spending travelers,” added Victoria Shamshurova, Managing Director of the Wholesale Sales Division at Emerging Travel Group.

Emerging Travel Group offers its clients and partners over 3.2 million accommodation options through direct connections and more than 350 suppliers. Since 2023, the company has been actively expanding its direct hotel connection strategy. Last year, the number of directly connected accommodations increased by 40%, exceeding 250,000 listings. By 2025, Emerging Travel Group had reached a gross transaction value of $4.8 billion. More than 40,000 bookings were made daily through the Group's platforms.
