The Mundo Maya Organization, with more than three decades promoting regional tourism integration, announces the realization of K'ÍIWIK, the Mundo Maya Tourism Fair, a strategic event that will take place from June 2 to 5, 2026 at the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center.
This important meeting will bring together representatives from the public and private sectors of the countries and territories that make up the Mayan World: Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and the southern Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Yucatán, consolidating a high-level space for trade, destination promotion and the strengthening of strategic alliances.
K'ÍIWIK 2026 was created as a key platform to connect exhibitors with wholesalers, travel agents, airlines, hotel chains, and other stakeholders in source markets, with the goal of boosting tourism marketing and positioning the Mayan World as one of the most competitive and attractive multi-destination areas in Latin America.
During the event, participants will present their tourism offerings, products, and experiences, while an academic program will take place featuring conferences, training sessions, and specialized panels focused on innovation, sustainability, and the development of tourism that generates a positive impact on local communities.
More than a fair, K'ÍIWIK 2026 represents a shared vision: to promote a more humane, conscious and sustainable tourism that honors the cultural, natural and ancestral richness of the Mayan civilization, while creating new opportunities for economic growth for the region.
With this initiative, the Mundo Maya Organization reaffirms its commitment to continue positioning the region on the international stage, promoting authentic experiences that connect history, nature, and living culture.
