A new adventure has officially launched into orbit. On February 27, the countdown clock struck zero as LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, located in Winter Haven, opened LEGO® Galaxy, one of the most ambitious expansions in LEGOLAND Florida's history.
The new, immersive land is centered around Galacticoaster, LEGOLAND Florida's first indoor, space-themed family roller coaster, a state-of-the-art attraction that puts creativity and customization at the heart of the adventure.
"LEGO Galaxy is more than just a new attraction. It's an immersive world where kids are the protagonists of building their own adventure. By combining the power of imagination with the excitement of space exploration, we've created an experience designed to inspire the next generation of creators, explorers, and dreamers," said Fiona Eastwood, CEO of Merlin Entertainments.
LEGO Galaxy invites families to journey through the cosmos in a universe where creativity drives every mission. At the heart of the experience is Galacticoaster, which puts passengers in command of their own spaceship from the moment they enter the queue.
Once aboard, families blast off on an immersive indoor adventure that reaches speeds of up to 64 km/h, navigating thrilling twists, turns, and dynamic launches through vibrant galaxies made up of different LEGO elements, brought to life with immersive lighting and sound. Designed to balance excitement with accessibility, Galacticoaster offers high-energy fun, created specifically for families with children aged 6 to 12.
Families can:
Test your skills in the Junior Astronaut Training Zone.
Shop at Orbital Outpost, a space-themed store filled with exclusive merchandise.
Refuel with limited-time, galactic-themed food and beverage offerings, crafted to power through every mission.
Throughout LEGO Galaxy, there are detailed LEGO builds, an immersive theme, and interactive elements to encourage creativity long after guests have left
the park. Admission to LEGO Galaxy is included with general park admission. For rates and accommodation options, please check with your preferred operator or booking channel.
