The event, organized by the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute (INTUR) in coordination with the Nicaraguan Embassy in El Salvador, brought together more than 15 tour operators, travel agencies, and businesspeople from the sector interested in learning about the country's tourism offerings.
During the presentation, destinations such as Granada, León, San Juan del Sur and Corn Island were highlighted, as well as cultural, gastronomic, nature, adventure and sustainability tourism experiences.
Additionally, a business roundtable was held between entrepreneurs, with the participation of 07 Nicaraguan companies including agencies and hotels – Hotel El Convento, Hotel La Recolección, Elah Tours, Transporte El Sol, Hotel La Gran Francia, Hotel Los Altos and Entre Islas agency – and Salvadoran entrepreneurs, generating strategic alliances and new opportunities for commercial exchange.
Attendees also enjoyed a tasting of traditional Nicaraguan dishes and sweets. In addition, they received gifts representing the country, including Flor de Caña rum, coffee, corn husk paintings, balsa wood birds, and straw hats, as well as promotional materials and tourist information in printed format.
