Palladium Hotel Group announces the Premier Padel Cancun P2 at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Costa Mujeres, from March 16 to 22, 2026, an event that brought together the leading figures of world padel in an experience that combined high-level competition, premium hospitality and entertainment in one of the most complete destinations in the Mexican Caribbean.

Throughout the week, the tournament marked the start of the Premier Padel tour in the Americas, following its stops in Riyadh and Gijón, positioning Costa Mujeres as a key stop on the international circuit. In this context, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, a state-of-the-art complex inspired by the methodology of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, reaffirms its role as a key platform for the global development of the sport, integrating different disciplines, training, and experience in a single environment.

The tournament attracted prominent figures from both the women's and men's circuits. In the women's draw, the return of Gemma Triay, an Academy ambassador, alongside Delfi Brea, was a major focus of attention, as they aimed to defend the title they won in 2025. In the men's draw, names like Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto, Franco Stupaczuk, also an Academy ambassador, Mike Yanguas, as well as the duo of Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger, raised the competitive level of the event.

Beyond the action on the court, Premier Padel Cancún P2 offered a comprehensive experience for players and attendees, with exclusive entertainment options, hospitality programs, and access to the facilities of the Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres and TRS Coral Hotel. This combination created a unique environment where sport blends seamlessly with gastronomy, relaxation, and social life, reinforcing the resort's concept as a complete all-inclusive destination.

Beyond the competition on the court, the Premier Padel Cancun P2 has naturally integrated into the Palladium Hotel Group universe, consolidating the resort as a destination where sport coexists with a complete hospitality and entertainment offering.

With the Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres as the main venue, and the TRS Coral Hotel and Family Selection also part of the same ecosystem, the event reflected the destination's versatility by offering different ways to experience it, tailored to each type of guest. Through Infinite Indulgence®, the experience extended beyond the matches, incorporating gastronomy, relaxation areas, and a vibrant social atmosphere that accompanied every moment of the tournament.

In this way, the event reinforced the resort's positioning as an environment where sport becomes part of a broader experience, aligned with the essence of Where Entertainment Lives: a place where everything happens in one destination.

The event was supported by Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, who highlighted the impact of holding this competition in Costa Mujeres: “It reinforces our commitment to padel and its international reach. After the very positive experience last year, it is a great pleasure to host this P2 tournament again at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Costa Mujeres.” She also praised the work of promoter Jorge Mañé and the high quality of the tournament's organization, which was widely recognized by the players.

The players' own assessments reflect the magnitude of the event. “The tournament has been impressive. It's a tournament that touches the heart,” said Lucía Sainz, while Gemma Triay highlighted the comfort and quality of the surroundings: “It's a luxury to have everything in the same place, in a wonderful hotel just two minutes from the courts.” Similarly, Marta Ortega emphasized the emotional experience of the tournament: “Expectations were high, but the tournament has far exceeded them. Playing here is very special, and being in places linked to Rafa makes us feel right at home.”

The Premier Padel Cancún P2 tournament also reinforces the international profile of the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Costa Mujeres, a unique sports complex in the Americas located within the Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres. This complex combines state-of-the-art facilities, including eight tennis courts, a padel court, and professional training spaces, with the methodology of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar. In this context, the tournament solidifies its position as a key platform for driving the growth and internationalization of padel globally,
establishing Costa Mujeres as a destination where high-level sport is an essential part of the experience.

With a prime location in Costa Mujeres, Mexico, and a concept that integrates high-level sport, entertainment, and excellent hospitality, the Premier Padel Cancun P2 reaffirms Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres as a destination where sport is elevated to a lifestyle experience, creating memorable moments in a unique setting facing the Mexican Caribbean.
