This time, the night is dressed up to celebrate "Yuri's Night," a global tribute to the first human in space and the launch of the first space shuttle. Less than an hour from Orlando, this exclusive nighttime experience invites space enthusiasts and explorers of all ages to enjoy the attractions after closing time, meet astronauts in person, hear from special guests, and dance the night away under the Cape Canaveral sky.
Returning favorites include:
Live DJ show and dance party at NASA Central;
Cosmic Glow Mini-Golf in the Rocket Garden;
Live show;
Meet the Astronauts (to be announced soon);
Nighttime access to select visitor attractions*.
Don't forget! Space-themed costumes are encouraged; however, for safety reasons, masks that cover the face and accessories that simulate weapons are not permitted. (This is not a costume contest.)
This year's Kennedy Under the Stars will feature new favorite characters from Yuri's Night, meet-and-greets with prominent guests from the space industry, and informal conversations covering topics such as space launches, the influence of space on our lives, and the future of space exploration. Two panel discussions will be held in the IMAX theater at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important:
This event will take place rain or shine. However, if NASA selects April 3 as the launch date for Artemis II, the event will be postponed. Special guests are subject to change based on individual availability.
*The Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour, the Apollo/Saturn V Center, and The Gantry at LC-39 will not be available. Spaceport KSC will also be closed.
