MSC Cruises renews its wellness offering aboard MSC Poesia for its Alaskan season

MSC Cruises announced the expansion of its wellness offerings on board the MSC Poesia, with a comprehensive renovation of the spa and fitness areas as part of its inaugural season in Alaska.

The improvements, made while the ship was in dry dock, include a complete redesign of the MSC Aurea Spa and an expansion of the MSC Gym by Technogym®, offering guests more options to relax, recover and stay active while exploring the destination's natural landscapes.

The renovated MSC Aurea Spa will feature new treatment rooms and a redesigned thermal area, creating a more contemporary and comfortable environment. The spaces incorporate ocean views, providing a sensory experience that combines relaxation and connection with nature.

Experiences Designed for Alaska:
The wellness offerings have been specially adapted for this destination, with treatments designed for cold climates. These include massages and therapies aimed at relieving muscle tension, promoting relaxation, and helping the body recover after exposure to low temperatures. In addition, there are post-excursion recovery experiences, ideal after outdoor activities such as glacier exploration or wildlife viewing.

Thermal relaxation with a view
The spa's thermal area offers a contrast to the outside climate, allowing passengers to enjoy the warmth and tranquility while contemplating the Alaskan landscapes, creating unique moments during the journey.

Expanded fitness and personalized well-being.
The MSC Gym by Technogym® will be relocated and completely renovated, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a more spacious and flexible design. It will include studios dedicated to group fitness classes and an exclusive space for cycling.

Guests will also have access to personalized wellness consultations, including Footbalance and InBody assessments, designed to support or initiate healthy routines during their trip.

Retail adapted to the destination
As a complement, the spa will incorporate a selection of products specially designed for cold climates, such as thermal creams, nourishing oils and moisturizing treatments to protect the skin against extreme conditions.

Between May and September 2026, MSC Poesia will operate seven-night Alaska itineraries departing from Seattle, visiting some of the region's most iconic destinations.
