Between January and February 2026, just over 10 million passengers traveled by air, of which 5.7 million were domestic and 4.3 million were international, representing an overall growth of 8.1% compared to the same period in 2025. Air passenger traffic in Colombia continues its positive trend in 2026, solidifying air transport as a strategic pillar for connectivity, tourism, and the country's economic activity.
“In February 2026 alone, air traffic reached nearly 4.5 million passengers, with a 9% growth, driven primarily by the dynamism of the international market. It's worth remembering that in 2025, the country reached a historic record of more than 57.5 million passengers, reflecting the consolidation of air transport as a key mode of mobility in Colombia,” explained Paula Cortés Calle, Executive President of ANATO.
This performance is in line with the sector's recent growth trend. During the same period last year, a sustained recovery was already evident, with increases of nearly 5% in total passenger traffic, a trend that has accelerated in 2026.
