MSC Cruises presents the arrival of the MSC Seaview to the Port of Buenos Aires for the first time in its 2026-2027 season in Argentina, catering to local travelers. Joining the impressive MSC Splendida in the lineup is the company's commitment to the Argentine market, reaffirming its dedication and offering the best vacation options for the upcoming season.
The MSC Seaview, the largest Seaside-class ship to be received at the Buenos Aires cruise terminal, will depart from the city offering 13 seven-night sailings between December 10 and March 4. With nearly 2,100 cabins and a total capacity of 5,400 guests, the cruise promises comfort and entertainment, including stops in Santos, Balneario Camboriu, and Punta del Este—the January 14 departure will include Montevideo on its itinerary. Furthermore, at the end of the season, the MSC Seaview will embark on the impressive Grand Voyage to Europe.

The MSC Splendida will offer 14 eight- and nine-night sailings from Buenos Aires, departing on December 3, 2026, and continuing until March 31, 2027, to iconic destinations in Brazil and Uruguay, including Rio de Janeiro, Búzios, Ilhabela, Ilha Grande, and Balneário Camboriú. Guests will also enjoy New Year's Eve on board to watch the fireworks over Copacabana Bay. With seven international restaurants, multiple bars, four swimming pools, 12 jacuzzis, and a Balinese spa, the ship is designed for families, couples, and groups of friends. It will also feature the MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive "ship within a ship" concept, offering priority embarkation and disembarkation, 24-hour butler service, a private restaurant, and VIP areas with panoramic ocean views.
Prior to the start of the season, the MSC Splendida will undertake an 18-night Grand Voyage, departing on November 15, 2026 from Barcelona to Buenos Aires, with stops in Gibraltar, Casablanca, the Canary Islands, Maceió, Salvador and Rio de Janeiro, among other ports on the Brazilian coast.
Both ships will embark on the incredible 22-night Grand Voyage from Buenos Aires to Europe, connecting South America with the European continent on an unforgettable journey. The MSC Seaview will set sail on March 4, 2027, and the MSC Splendida on March 31, 2027, visiting the magnificent Brazilian ports of Rio de Janeiro and Maceió; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Tarragona in Spain; Ajaccio in France; Corfu in Greece; and Rome, Bari, and Venice in Italy.

Ships that will arrive in Buenos Aires in 2026/2027
MSC Seaview
It is the largest cruise ship to arrive at the Buenos Aires cruise terminal this season. With 153,000 tons, 450,000 m2 (including 43,500 m2 of common public spaces), 2,066 cabins, and a total capacity of 5,400 guests, this Seaside-class vessel is characterized by its emphasis on open-air spaces.
The stunning glass-walled Atrium spans four decks, creating a beautiful and innovative entertainment venue for live music and a variety of other events. Beyond the walls, two glass-floored walkways offer guests breathtaking ocean views. And the luxurious MSC Aurea Spa on MSC Seaview is a haven of relaxation and pampering, with a wide selection of Balinese massages and other beauty and wellness treatments. It also features a thermal area, a beauty salon, and a nail boutique.
On board the MSC Seaview, entertainment is guaranteed, offering all the recreational facilities you can imagine, with a casino, state-of-the-art theater and disco, full-size bowling, a multi-story interactive water park with an adventure trail, and several colorful children's play areas created in collaboration with LEGO® and Chicco®.
MSC Splendida
This modern ship offers expansive outdoor spaces and state-of-the-art facilities. With seven international restaurants and several bars and lounges featuring an extensive cocktail and beverage menu, the MSC Splendida also boasts four swimming pools, 12 jacuzzis, and a Technogym-equipped gym. Entertainment options include a large theater with impressive shows, a sports arena, a high-tech 4D cinema, the MSC Formula Racer simulator, and dedicated areas for children and teenagers. A traditional Balinese spa and the MSC Yacht Club offer premium relaxation and exclusivity.
New developments for the 2026-2027 season in South America
During this new season in South America, running from November 2026 to April 2027, MSC Cruises will offer more than 100 itineraries in the region, combining relaxation, gastronomy, entertainment, and the warmth that characterizes the company. The MSC Virtuosa, one of the world's most modern and technologically advanced ships, will make its debut in Brazil, joined by the MSC Musica and MSC Lirica, offering diverse itineraries designed for all types of travelers.
The MSC Magnifica, for its part, will be in charge of uniting the continents during its 121-night World Cruise, visiting Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia and the Falkland Islands, in addition to ports in Brazil and Chile.
