What are Neuquén's objectives in participating in this international fair?

Once again, we are present alongside destinations such as Villa La Angostura, San Martín de los Andes, Caviahue, and Villa Traful, showcasing our full range of winter and year-round offerings to the São Paulo and Brazilian tourism trade. This is a key market for us, where we aim to further position our destinations, strengthen ties with the press and tour operators, and solidify our presence in the medium and long term.

Brazilian tourists come to our region with family, as couples, or with friends, primarily to experience the snow and enjoy the ski resorts. Neuquén boasts one of the best winter offerings in the country, with resorts like Lago Hermoso, Chapelco, and Cerro Bayo, and well-established destinations such as Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes.

In addition, we are promoting destinations such as Caviahue, in the north of the province, with a different adventure offering, and the city of Neuquén, which adds experiences related to wine tourism, wineries and the attraction of dinosaur fossils, products that we know are very attractive to the Brazilian public.

Participating in WTM is key to communicating new developments, bringing new experiences to the trade, and continuing to position the nature and winter sports offering.

What other markets do you consider strategic for the destination?

We are currently actively working in markets such as Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Colombia. In particular, we recently launched a flight between the city of Neuquén and Santiago, Chile, which significantly boosts connectivity and growth in that market.

However, Uruguay, Colombia, and Paraguay also represent priority markets within our international expansion strategy.

What is your assessment of the last summer season and what are your expectations for the winter?

The summer season was very positive for Neuquén, with domestic tourism being the dominant activity. Argentine travelers continue to choose our region for their summer vacations.

Regarding the Brazilian market, we understand that there is still great potential to develop in the summer, as it is a very attractive proposition that we must continue to promote.

Looking ahead to winter, expectations are very high. We aim to sustain growth and continue positioning Neuquén as one of the region's leading snow destinations.

From your perspective, what characteristics differentiate Neuquén from other destinations in Argentina?

Neuquén stands out as a boutique destination, where attention to detail and service are exceptional. There is a genuine dedication to welcoming tourists, both on the part of the community and the service providers.

The quality of services is high and connectivity is growing exponentially. The provincial government is investing heavily in road infrastructure, which will allow visitors to explore a revitalized province with paved roads connecting north to south and east to west.

This includes improvements to access to destinations such as Villa Traful, Meliquina, Alto Neuquén, and the connection between Junín de los Andes and Villa Pehuenia. All of this translates into a more accessible, comfortable, and distinctive travel experience for visitors.

How will the promotional activities schedule continue after this event?

Following WTM, we will be organizing a workshop in Buenos Aires for travel agents from the Greater Buenos Aires area. We are also making progress on the launch of our winter season, which is our next major milestone.

The goal is to position ourselves as one of the top choices for winter holidays and continue attracting tourists from all over the region.
