In this edition, the Peruvian offering will focus on nature experiences, adventure, and sustainable tourism.
The main novelty of this participation will be the promotion of the Chachapoyas destination as part of a diversification strategy in the Brazilian market. This city in northeastern Peru offers a proposition that combines a millennial cultural legacy, represented by the fortified citadel of Kuélap, with natural scenery such as the Gocta waterfall.
A presentation will be held for travel agents about the Chachapoyas destination, which is emerging as a new and interesting option for the Brazilian market.
To immerse visitors in this destination, the Peruvian stand will reflect the journey from the coast to the jungle, crossing the Andes. Guests will walk along an interactive path that simulates a river, recreating the geographical crossing that leads to such wonderful destinations.
Peruvian tour operators will present innovative experiences, such as trails to the lagoons of Huaraz, itineraries that allow you to appreciate the gastronomy of Arequipa, visits to archaeological sites of ancient cultures in Trujillo, Chiclayo and Chachapoyas, as well as luxury experiences in Peru.
At the trade show, PROMPERÚ will also present its new AI-powered virtual assistant for travel planning, making Peru the first country in Latin America to implement this technology. The tool, available through the peru.travel portal, offers a personalized experience in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
The Director of Tourism at PROMPERÚ, María del Sol Velásquez, will participate as a speaker in a roundtable discussion on sustainable tourism organized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
Currently, Brazil represents a strategic market for promoting tourism in Peru. In 2025, the country received 212,365 Brazilian tourists, representing a 15% increase compared to 2024.
