Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced the addition of Ramiro Alem as the new Development Manager for Chile and Argentina, in line with its growth strategy in key markets in the Southern Cone.
A graduate in Tourism and with an MBA from Universidad del CEMA, Alem has over 20 years of experience in the tourism, hospitality, and real estate industries in Argentina and Latin America. Throughout his career, he has worked for global companies such as Four Seasons, British Airways, and HVS, in addition to holding positions in the public sector, including Undersecretary of Tourism Investments in Argentina and President of the Buenos Aires City Tourism Board.
He was also co-founder and CEO of Invertur, where he developed expertise in project structuring, market analysis and investor attraction.
In his new role, Alem will be focused on identifying growth opportunities, strengthening relationships with developers and owners, and expanding the company's presence in Chile and Argentina.
