The event has good news for the region. Data from the 2025 South America Source Passenger Market Report, presented during the meeting, predict that 1.12 million South American citizens will carry out maritime cruises in 2025, a growth of 4.2% in relation to 2024. Ferraz also joined the Brazilian delegation at the Embratur stand. The Brazilian space contains dozens of co-exhibitors, in addition to the participation of authorities, representatives of tourist destinations and port terminals, in a coordinated strategy for the promotion of the country in the international cruise market.

Another highlight of the program was the technical visit to the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Passenger Terminal, which brought together representatives from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina, as well as tourist destination managers, authorities and port operators. The activity provided an immersion in operating models and infrastructure of international reference, contributing to the exchange of practical good practices and to the development of the sector in the region.
