Today begins the DATE 2018, the great Dominican show

The National Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores) brings together the local tourism industry in the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE).

DATE was created to provide a professionally organized trade exchange where international wholesalers, tour operators, incentive groups, airlines and charter operators (buyers) can meet and conduct business with major tourism providers in the Dominican Republic.

Buyers will have the opportunity to meet, at their discretion, with more than 150 different suppliers of Dominican tourist products and services.

Buyers and suppliers receive a DATE Delegate Directory, which includes marketing information and products from all participants. Once received, the Buyer delegates review the information about the Suppliers and request appointments with the Suppliers that they wish to fulfill. While Suppliers may request meetings with Buyers, Buyers need not meet with them unless they wish to do so. Meetings are organized in advance through the coincidence of the computer or in the event during the programming sessions.

Meetings are held for 20 minutes each, and are held on a one-on-one basis. During this meeting or before DATE, buyers may also request on-site visits.

DATE is an excellent opportunity for buyers to conduct annual negotiations efficiently, as well as to have the opportunity to see first-hand the business environment to travel in the Dominican Republic and / or view properties in person. Providers have the opportunity to meet with several buyers and demonstrate their travel advantages.
