Hilton today announced the opening of its newest hotel, the double-brand property Hampton by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca and Homewood Suites by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca. This opening represents Hilton's second double-branded hotel in Mexico.
"As we expand our presence in Latin America, we have focused on expanding the double-branded hotel segment of the Hilton portfolio, and the same with the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand, which is scheduled to open eight properties throughout the region, including four in Mexico, "said Juan Corvinos, vice president of development for Latin America and the Caribbean at Hilton. "We recognize the importance of combining brands that are leaders in their category to meet a wide variety of needs for travelers in one of the most important business centers in the region."
With more than 130 hotels and resorts already open and operating that receive guests visiting the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton continues to concentrate its efforts on expanding its portfolio in Mexico, one of the most important tourist destinations in the region. The global hotel business stands out for having almost 60 properties of various Hilton brands throughout the country and a strong development portfolio of almost 30 hotels, which includes the development of a third double-brand property, a Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Saltillo, whose opening is planned for the year 2020.
"After the successful opening of our prototype in the region, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Silao Airport hotel, we have strategically focused on expanding the brand's presence in the region," said Adrian Kurre, global director of Homewood Suites by Hilton. "We are delighted to be able to introduce those visiting Apodaca, an important industrial hub, to the spacious rooms and convenient amenities of the brand for extended stays."

The hotels also offer flexible meeting space for up to 100 guests.
