Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced that Hyatt Place San Pedro Sula is officially open, marking the second Hyatt Place hotel in Honduras and the fifth in Central America. The new hotel presents the intuitive design of the Hyatt Place brand, a casual atmosphere with practical amenities for travelers who perform multiple tasks, such as free Wi-Fi internet connection and food available 24 hours a day. The hotel is owned by Latam Hotel Corporation, which currently owns six hotels and convention centers in its growing portfolio, and operated by GHL, a Colombian group with 70 hotels owned or operated in Latin America.

Hyatt Place San Pedro Sula is located on Avenida Circunvalación, a safe and vibrant area of the second largest city in Honduras, and is part of the Ágora Mall, which offers a wide variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment activities for discover. The hotel is located about 30 minutes from Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport, also known as La Mesa International Airport, and offers direct airport transfers upon request.
