Kantenah Beach by Palladium Hotel Group receives Blue Flag certification

The process to obtain certification follows a strict verification protocol and is granted only to those who demonstrate that they prevent irreparable damage to the environment in the long term

On July 13, Palladium Hotel Group received from the hands of Joaquín Arturo Díaz Ríos, Executive Director of the Foundation for Environmental Education Mexico (FEE, for its acronym in English) Blue Flag recognition for having achieved "excellence" in management and environmental management of its Kantenah Beach.

With the raising of the Blue Flag on this beach of white sand, turquoise water and 800 meters long, Palladium Hotel Group confirms its commitment to the environment, its guests, society and its employees.

"Blue Flag" is a voluntary program that has awarded more than 4500 beaches in 48 countries, since 1981, throughout Europe, South Africa, Morocco, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and the Caribbean.

The process to obtain Blue Flag certification follows a strict verification protocol and is granted only to those places where it can be demonstrated that the management of its recreation facilities and the influx of visitors, prevents irreparable damage to occur in the long term. to the environment.

The recognition was received by Limbert Hoil, Quality, Sustainability and Social Responsibility Manager of Grand Palladium Rivera Maya, who commented "We are very happy and proud to receive this recognition for the good sustainable practices that Palladium Hotel Group always seeks to implement among our guests, society in general and mainly in the care of our ecosystem ".

In Riviera Maya, Kantenah Beach is the first private company that obtains the Blue Flag certificate, since those held in Quintana Roo are public.

This recognition joins those who have received the beaches of Palladium Hotel Group in Riviera Nayarit and Punta Cana.
