Aerolíneas Argentinas received an important award based on the opinion of its passengers

At APEX, passengers from almost 500 airlines around the world rated more than one million flights. Aerolíneas Argentinas obtained four stars (out of five possible) in the "global airlines" category

Aerolíneas Argentinas was awarded four stars (out of a total of five), according to the opinion of its passengers in the "global airlines" category. This distinction was granted within the framework of APEX Expo, which took place in Boston, United States. There the main airlines from around the world gathered to witness the award ceremony.
Of almost 500 airlines analyzed worldwide, only 23 reached the prestigious four-star level. The same distinction has been awarded to global airlines such as Air France, British Airways, Iberia, KLM and Scandinavian.

"It is a pride for Airlines to receive this recognition, which is the product of the effort of all its members, after years of constant and planned work, this past month we have reached historic records of punctuality and exceeded our standards in the level of customer satisfaction. That is the road we are focused on, "said Luis Malvido, president of Aerolineas Argentinas.

The APEX Official Airline Ratings were created based on passenger feedback collected through the APEX partnership with TripIt from Concur, the world's best qualified travel organization application. Using a five-star scale, passengers of almost 500 airlines worldwide rated more than one million flights between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018. First, passengers rated their overall flight experience One to five stars. Then, they had the opportunity to provide anonymous ratings in five subcategories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi.

This distinction is added to the three obtained in the month of May, within the framework of the "Travelers Choice Awards" that the site TripAdvisor provides, according to the references and ratings of thousands of travelers. On that occasion, Aerolineas Argentinas was distinguished in three categories: Best Airline in Latin America, Best Business Class in Latin America, and Best Economic Class in Latin America.

In August, Aerolineas Argentinas obtained 91% of punctuality, the highest value since the company carries that record. Between January and August of last year, the average of punctuality reached 84%, while for the same period this year it is 88%. According to FlightStats, an entity that measures punctuality at an international level, the company is the third largest in Latin America.

On the other hand, in August the measurement of customer satisfaction (NPS) also reached the highest level recorded by the company. Check-In (with 8.98 points), crew (8.91) and luggage (8.25) were the most outstanding values ​​for Airlines passengers. Since 2017, there has been a strong improvement trend in the indicator, which in August of this year registered a growth of 13 percentage points compared to the same month last year.
