Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino, a luxurious resort located on 12 acres of a magnificent property in front of the famous white sandy beach of Palm Beach on Happy Island, announced the complete renovation of its 357 rooms and suites, in addition to the Regency Club.
"Hyatt Regency Aruba constantly raises the bar in terms of service, experience and services in Aruba," said Carlos Cabrera, General Manager and Vice President of the Hyatt Regency Aruba Area. "Our renovated rooms are unmatched by any other resort on the island and will undoubtedly be of value to all our valued guests."
The renovation project, led by BLUR Workshop Designs, based in Kansas City, cost $ 24 million. The redesign has focused on achieving modern and elegant rooms, which at the same time pay homage to the Dutch colonial architecture of the island and have colorful Caribbean accents.
"Looking through the layers of waterfalls, the palm trees swaying and the turquoise waters of the sea outside the Hyatt Regency Aruba property, you immediately have the feeling of relaxation in this stunning tropical resort," said Kelly O'Donnell , designer of BLUR Workshop Designs. "We wanted to recreate the same experience for the guests, when they open the door of their rooms. Upon entering, they will have the same feeling of relaxation, emotion and beauty of Happy Island. "
The rooms of this new concept are spacious and bright, with white oak furniture and lots of natural light. Carefully designed, they evoke the feeling of being in your own beach house. Cozy touches include a hand-woven chevron wool rug, luxurious pillows and linens, a quilted but contemporary headboard and a large chaise lounge chair. The rooms also have a 65 "TV, fridge with glass door, coffee station, numerous plugs and lighting with motion sensors.
The subtle tropical touches are evident throughout the space. The custom-made curtains have a pattern in blue tones, from saturated to very clear, which fade, imitating wonderfully the effect of the blue waters of Aruba. The touches of color enrich the space of a palette of neutral colors to create a relaxing aesthetic. Worn out planks of wood - painted in blue, pink and green - are artistically displayed on the walls of the room, alluding to the island's iconic fishing boats and boats.
The bathrooms in the rooms have also been completely renovated. They feature large quartz stone tops, white oak vanities, faucets and brushed nickel accessories by Kohler. Above the toilets, advanced technology mirrors were installed that are backlit and have an integrated digital clock.
The new Regency Club Lounge was moved from the top floor of the hotel to the ground floor for easy access from the pool, beach and casino. Regency Club Lounge offers complimentary continental breakfast, evening cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and more personalized concierge services. If you want to take full advantage of the club, book your room in the Regency Club category.
