Turkish Airlines and Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras signed an alliance

Miles & Smiles, the loyalty program offered by Turkish Airlines, currently has 10 million members. The Turkish flag airline offers its passengers frequent special benefits in accumulating and exchanging miles on both Turkish Airlines flights and their associated airlines. In addition to its existing alliances with 27 Star Alliance member airlines, Miles & Smiles teamed up with a Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) with the Brazilian airline Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was held at the headquarters of Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras in Sao Paulo, with the assistance of the marketing director of Turkish Airlines (CMO), Ahmet Olmuştur, CFO of Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, Alexandre Wagner Malfitani, executives from both sides and representatives of the international and local press.
Ahmet Olmuştur, CMO of Turkish Airlines, commented on the agreement with Azul: "We are delighted to expand our partnership with Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, we already had a code-sharing cooperation established in December last year, and with this new association of Frequent Traveler Program, we are pleased to further forge the relationship between Turkish Airlines and Azul. "
With the aim of providing a unique and privileged travel experience, Turkish Airlines expands its partnerships to allow members of its loyalty program to enjoy the advantages of Miles & Smiles on its flights around the world.
Under the signed agreement, Miles & Smiles members can now add and redeem miles on flights operated by Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, starting on January 1, 2019. Reciprocally, the Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras loyalty program, TudoAzul, also they can earn and redeem miles on flights operated by Turkish Airlines.
