The appointment of this executive who has extensive experience in the luxury hotel sector comes at a momentous moment for hotels. This December, the new hotels will open their doors with Santiago Rivera in command, offering a large number of new programs, services and amenities designed to meet the different needs of all their customers.

Santiago Rivera, who previously ran the Paradisus Cancun hotel, brings more than 15 years of experience in MHI and the luxury hospitality sector to his new position at Meliá Punta Cana Beach Resort and Meliá Caribe Beach Resort. Under his leadership, the Paradisus Cancún achieved great success and increased sales and profitability, ensuring at the same time that his guests lived an unforgettable experience. With two graduate degrees in hotel management and strategic administration from Cornell University, Santiago Rivera has obtained great results in other hotels in its portfolio such as Paradisus Los Cabos, Paradisus Playa del Carmen, La Perla and La Esmeralda, among others.
