This Saturday, Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport arrived at the first JetBlue flight with its Mint service from New York. Although this connection already existed, the modality of the new flight is one of the novelties in arrivals to Liberia, the flight is one of the most exclusive at international level.
With this launch, Liberia became the first city in which JetBlue offers its exclusive Mint service in Latin America. In addition, JetBlue will be the only airline that will operate flights with fully reclinable seats between Costa Rica and the United States.
The flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport will arrive every Saturday at 2:49 pm to Liberia during high season with the aim of giving a premium service to all incoming and outgoing tourists who vacation from the Big Apple and its connections to Liberia.
The Costa Rican Institute of Tourism (ICT) looks favorably on the increase in the arrival of new flights to Liberia, according to the Minister of Tourism, this is a work that dates back several months ago and that now bears fruit to continue promoting the tourism industry in Guanacaste

JetBlue Mint arrived in Liberia thanks to a joint effort of CORIPORT, the airport's concessionaire, the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) and the Guanacaste Tourism Chamber (CATURGUA). Approximately 3 thousand people are expected to arrive in Guanacaste with the new flight period.
