TripAdvisor ranked Eagle Beach as the third most beautiful beach in the world and the second in the Caribbean
TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Awards for Beaches announced that Eagle Beach is the third best beach in the world among the 352 that exist globally.
The evaluation criteria were determined according to the quantity and quality of the reviews of different travelers for each destination, which were carried out on the platform during a period of 12 months, in order to select the top 25 of the best beaches worldwide.
"For us it is very rewarding to have been selected as the third best beach in the world in 2019. Since 2017, it has been recognized by the TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice® Awards for Beaches as one of the best beaches in the world, so we proudly receive this new award that reiterates the majesty of Eagle Beach, which is a sample of the natural beauty of the destination and the care we give to the resources of our island, "said the CEO of the Tourism Authority of Aruba (ATA), Ronella Tjin Asjoe -Croes
With its coast of white sand and crystal clear water, Eagle Beach is the widest and longest beach in Aruba. Located in the low rise area, it has free WiFi, is surrounded by hotel and residential complexes, and also has a parking area, shaded areas, some changing rooms and various water sports for visitors and locals. This beach is the home of the flagship trees of the island: the Fofoti, which are the most photographed in the place because of its characteristic silhouette that points towards the Caribbean.
Just as in 2017 and 2018 Eagle Beach was in the ranking of the best beaches worldwide, in 2019 its nomination ratifies why Aruba maintains its position as one of the destinations most sought by tourists, not only for family vacations or couple, but also for business meetings and conferences.
"Congratulations to Eagle Beach for being one of the winners again of the Traveler's Choice Awards for Beaches this year. Our award is even more special than other editorial recognitions because the winners are determined by the data analysis done by our international community. From a beautiful sea of crystal clear water and golden sand, to splendid rocky shores where you can see exotic wildlife, this list has beaches for everyone, "said Vice President Global Communications, Desirée Fish.
