Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel company in the world, with more than 9,000 units in operation in more than 80 countries and on six continents, supports its commitment to tourism development in Latin America and the Caribbean, having a presence in 21 markets of the region, where operate more than 214 units of 14 brands -175 franchisees and 39 managed-, as well as more than 26,000 rooms.
Also, the leading provider of hotel management services, with 400 units managed in the world, expands strongly, by opening two hotels every day of the week. Its portfolio of iconic brands is strategically designed to offer guests a wide variety of exciting experiences and prices, as well as solid opportunities for franchisees, developers and partners.
Currently, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts seeks to expand its presence in Colombia. Proof of this is that the company is developing a Ramada Encore hotel in Bogotá, in the department of Cundinamarca, which will be added to the nine units that are already operating in the country.
The company expects that this expansion plan in the South American country will be much larger, which is why it plans to open hotels in other cities such as Santa Marta, Leticia, Cali and Cartagena for the coming years.
In addition to these, it contemplates the opening of 17 hotels in several Latin American countries during 2019, as well as 32 units in the region from this year until 2021.
