Quito nominated in seven categories at the World Travel Awards

Quito is again nominated in the World Travel Awards known as the 'Oscar del Turismo' award that recognizes and celebrates excellence in all sectors of the tourism industry and travel around the world.
On this occasion, Quito hopes to reach its seventh award as the Leading Destination of South America. The World Travel Awards are considered the most important awards in the tourism industry worldwide and are mostly based on the recommendations of professionals in the tourism industry plus the vote of citizens and professionals in this sector around the world. Quito competes with important cities such as Lima, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, among others.
The categories in which Quito is nominated are:

South America's Leading Vacation Destination
Destination of the Leading City of South America
Tourist Office of the Leading City of South America
Destination Cultural City Leader of South America
Leading Destination of Festivals and Events of South America
Destination Leader of Meetings and Conferences of South America

Without a doubt this event is the opportunity to position a destination within the region, and we invite all Quitons to vote for the capital and position themselves before the world.
Within the Leading Destination category of Meetings and Conferences of South America, Quito won its first prize in 2017, later in 2018 and this year it seeks to maintain leadership in this segment at a regional level.
Quito has innumerable architectural and cultural wonders, including churches, chapels, museums, monuments and plazas that have made it possible to position the capital among the destinations preferred by national and foreign tourists.

You must register and provide basic information (name, surname and country); in addition to an email address and password.
Click on the Submit button.
You will receive an email verification message, which includes a link whose information you must complete to activate your new account.
If you already have an account, enter directly.
Next, select the South America section in the regions menu, located on the left side and immediately, a list of all the participating categories will be displayed.
Click on the corresponding category.
Choose the box where the destination Quito appears and your vote is already registered.
