Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will officially open Tigris, an exciting attraction that features a variety of loop turns with movements

Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay will officially open Tigris, the triple-throw steel roller coaster, tomorrow (April 19). This new attraction is Florida's highest launch roller coaster and the ninth in the park's collection, positioning Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as the leader of exciting attractions.

"We are proud of the legacy we have built, having received millions of adventurers from around the world in the Tampa Bay area," said Stewart Clark, president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. "Tigris is the perfect complement to our incomparable collection of attractions that pump adrenaline. "

Tigris will catapult passengers through an exciting variety of loop turns with forward and backward movements, impressive falls, a 150-foot shake to the sky and an investment that reaches a top speed of almost 100 km / h. Tigris will lead its travelers along more than 500 m of steel track designed to mimic the impressive agility of the world's largest and most powerful cat: the tiger.

Tigris joins the list of favorites selected by roller coaster enthusiasts, including Cheetah Hunt, the longest roller coaster in the park, SheiKra, a 60-meter-high roller coaster, with no floor; Falcon's Fury, an independent launching tower of 100 m, Montu, an inverted roller coaster, Kumba, and Cobra's Curse.
