Barceló invests 8 million dollars in the expansion of Occidental Nuevo Vallarta

The complex will go from having 274 to 336 rooms. The 92 new rooms that will be inaugurated during the first quarter of 2020, will be part of a 6-story block that will join the current building

Barceló Hotel Group, the third largest hotel company in Mexico, has just announced the investment of 8 million dollars in the expansion of one of the 23 hotels it has in the country: Occidental Nuevo Vallarta (Rivera Nayarit). Incorporated into the group in 2015, coinciding with the purchase of Occidental Hotels & Resorts, the chain has sought to enhance its success in the North American, Canadian and local markets by adding a third block of 6 floors with 92 new rooms, which will increase its offer of 274 to 336 rooms. In addition to a modern and elegant design, all the rooms will enjoy incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and, specifically, the beautiful Bay of Banderas, a highly prized destination for sustainable tourism and beaches of exceptional beauty. The inauguration of this new space will take place in the first quarter of 2020.

According to Juan Luis Sampol, director of Zona Pacifico of Barceló Hotel Group, "for Occidental Nuevo Vallarta, the most important thing is to think about the satisfaction of our guests. That is why we do not repair in innovating and improving our offer. In this sense, the addition of this new tower will allow us to provide our partners and friends with more exclusive options when selecting rooms. Therefore we trust that this project is without a doubt a great success for the brand".
