The hotel chain restructures its workforce and transfers all brand, marketing and public relations initiatives to its own facilities

 

Palace Resorts, the company that sets the standard in five-star, all-inclusive luxury resorts, recently held its global marketing summit, which brought together brand executive leaders from all-inclusive luxury resorts. At the summit, the company announced the restructuring of its internal marketing teams. Palace Resorts, which previously managed its marketing and public relations initiatives together with some of the best marketing and advertising agencies, has decided to carry out all these efforts internally through the creation of a global marketing team.
The various brands of Palace Resorts are marketed globally in a variety of segments of the travel space, including direct consumers, travel industry professionals and meeting and incentive sellers. These marketing initiatives are not only carried out in key markets such as the United States and Canada, but also in other key international key markets, which include Mexico, Latin America, the United Kingdom and Japan, among others. Halpern is a respected phenomenon in the hospitality industry, which will bring her more than two decades of experience in hotel and travel sales and marketing to her role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Palace Resorts. Previously she was Vice President of Marketing at Palace Resorts and, before joining the company, she worked for more than thirteen years at Occidental Hotels & Resorts. Her previous experience also includes positions in Island Destinations, where she held several positions, including that of Vice President of Marketing, specializing in trips to the Caribbean islands, Mexico and Greece. Halpern has won numerous awards, such as the Most Innovative Hotel Executive Travvy Award and the HSMAI 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing, among others.

Michelle Catin has been promoted to Senior Director of Marketing, and will support all digital and traditional marketing initiatives, as well as those of social networks. He has more than thirteen years of experience in public relations, electronic commerce and digital marketing in the travel, packaged consumer goods and technology sectors. He has won numerous industry awards, including the prestigious Adrian Award from Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Prior to working at Palace Resorts, he created the digital division of a leading public relations agency in South Florida.

Peter Baedita, creative director
Baedita spent more than the last 25 years of her life helping to develop the brands and benefits of many Fortune 500 companies, both internally and in national advertising agencies. Prior to joining Palace Resorts, he worked for more than eight years at Norwegian Cruise Line, where he created an award-winning in-house creative department. His previous jobs include two years at RMG Connect / J. Walter Thompson, where he worked on the Royal Caribbean account, and 12 years at DDB Miami. Other previous clients are Carnival Cruise Lines, World's Leading Cruise Lines and Florida Lottery. His numerous design awards include two Addy as "Best of Show". In addition, his paintings integrate the collections of several museums and his works have been published in more than a dozen books.

Juan Zuluaga, Digital Marketing Manager
Zuluaga, the new Digital Marketing Manager at Palace Resorts, has more than seven years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce. He recently led the development and launch of Lionfuse Digital's measurement and performance department, which involved the understanding and implementation of data between verticals and consumer channels for more than 100 clients in more than 15 industries. Zuluaga will oversee the management of projects, including the traffic of all digital elements, as well as the internal and external marketing of Palace Resorts and Le Blanc Spa Resorts.

Liszt will bring more than 20 years of writing and editing experience to her new role as senior editor of Palace Resorts. Cessie Cerrato has been promoted to Vice President of Public Relations.
