ATELIER - STUDIO Playa Mujeres, the new luxury "All Suites Resort" of the Mexican hotel chain ATELIER de Hoteles, announces the opening of the NUUP® Spa, a refined and relaxing wellness center destined to offer transformative experiences to those who visit it, with an extensive menu of services.
The name of the NUUP® Spa is inspired by the Mayan word meaning "cosmic connection", which reflects the purpose of this enclosure that is to unify and balance the mind, body and soul, through an experience of integral relaxation. All services include the hydrotherapy circuit, as well as the personalized guide of a Spa Butler, who advises guests and external visitors, at all times, on the appropriate treatments according to their lifestyle and their particular needs.

The 3,600 m2 of the NUUP® Spa are distributed in three floors of architecture in contemporary style, which is complemented by the most advanced technology. On the first floor is a gym with free weight equipment and machines to exercise the cardiovascular system, a hydrotherapy circuit, with separate areas for men and women, as well as a mixed area. The second floor has 18 treatment cabins, both individual and couples and on the third floor are the reception, consultation areas, an elegant beauty salon and an exclusive suite for brides.
The hydrotherapy circuit is ideal to initiate relaxation, with an approximate duration of 1.5 hours, in which the muscles and blood circulation are stimulated to promote the detoxification of the body. This circuit has a shower of sensations, which emits haze in an environment of chromotherapy and aromatherapy, a playful pool with bubble bed, cervical massage jet and a water pressure geyser. There is also a pit of ice water between 17ºC and 18ºC, a hot Jacuzzi at 38ºC and steam with eucalyptus salts.
The 18 treatment cabins include 4 for couples, two of them with a luxurious tub and the others are individual. All rooms have a private shower and special stretchers of the brand OakWorks Spa, model MAIA® and Celesta®, which allow the body to be ergonomically arranged to facilitate massages and treatments. These stretchers have the ABC® system, which allows women to eliminate the pressure in the chest when lying on their stomachs, as well as allowing men and women to release the tension that is created in the cervical area when placed face up. It should be noted that, in Latin America, these stretchers are only found in the NUUP® Spa of ATELIER - ESTUDIO Playa Mujeres.
For total delight of the guests you can choose between 8 types of massage, 10 options of facial and body treatments, as well as special packages, bridal rituals and aesthetic services such as manicure, pedicure, hair removal, hairstyles, and makeup .
The NUUP® Spa by ATELIER - STUDIO Playa Mujeres has a special service, exclusively designed for weddings: the Bridal Dress-Up Lounge®, which consists of a private suite for the bride, where you can relax while preparing your hairstyle and makeup , along with her bridesmaids and her family, for a period of up to 5 hours prior to her ceremony.
