New distribution strategies in the tourism sector

JSF Travel & Tourism School launches the “Optimizing Hotel Distribution Strategies” executive program, which will be taught over three days in Cancun, from October 29 to 31, 2019

The hotel distribution market faces an extraordinarily complex scenario, in which the client is the new CEO and in which hoteliers, whether large chains or individual hotels, receptive, bed banks, travel agencies, OTAs, tour operators, GDS or metasearch engines redefine their strategies. Knowledge of tactical options and technological solutions is basic, but it is even more important to address distribution from an eminently strategic angle.
This program aims to provide the managers of the vision and strategic planning industry to be able to design distribution plans that have a positive impact on sales, profitability and the satisfaction of its customers & stakeholders. It has been designed considering the latest technological trends, management, opportunities and threats, with the purpose that each participant can apply the knowledge acquired in their distribution policy.

The program will address the following topics:
Sector transformation, new challenges and players
Flexibility in Price and Profitability
Innovation in Traditional Distribution
Call Center: Integrating Data and creating a dashboard to make decisions
OTAs: Showcase or Channel? How to optimize its use and build customer loyalty?
New Players: Air BNB and Amazon Do I enter or not enter the game?
Optimizing your hotel on Expedia and Booking
Ending the price disparity
Workshop: Integrating Players offline with online
Keys to a correct online direct selling strategy
Where do the Metasearch models go? From Booking / Expedia-dependence to Google-dependence?
Participation Model and Attribution Challenges

Loyalty as the main strategy to compete with intermediation
