The Ministry of Tourism and Aviation of The Bahamas completed the promotional tour prior to the winter season (pre-summer) in Latin America with an excellent response from the travel and media sector in South America and Panama, where they visited some of the most important cities in the region: Santiago, Montevideo, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Quito, Lima, Panama City, Bogotá and ended last Friday, August 23, 2019 in Medellín.

“The interest in the Bahamas Islands by the Latin American market is greater than ever, we had a significant number of cruise ship representatives, tour operators, tourist offices and island resorts, such as Atlantis Paradise Island, Sandals Resorts, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line, The Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, Baha Mar Resort, Grand Bahama Tourism Board, Majestic Tours, Meliá Nassau Beach, RIU Palace Paradise Island, Sandals Resorts and Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach, and also key partners of airlines such as American Airlines and COPA Airlines, which participated and had contact with about 600 travel agents and tour operators and more than 50 media outlets from the different cities that were visited, ”added Mr. Thompson.
