The delegation headed by the Secretary of Tourism Gustavo Santos will share the distinction with Brazil in order to jointly promote the tourism offer of both nations in the Asian country
With the presence of the Secretary of Tourism of the Nation, Gustavo Santos, Argentina will attend, together with Brazil, as Guest of Honor Country to the next Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF), to be held from October 13 to 15 in Macao, Republic Popular China
This important event, consolidated as an international platform to promote the exchange and debate of the sustainable development of the global tourism industry, with special emphasis on China, gives our country the possibility of consolidating its presence in the Asian country and enhancing the arrival of its tourists.
“We continue to work in the tourism promotion of Argentina, we seek to multiply investment opportunities and continue adding international tourists. On this occasion, the joint promotion with Brazil in China gives us greater visibility not only for our tourist destinations, but for the entire region. In addition, being a Guest of Honor Country in this event brings us closer to the main references in the sector to generate future investments. In this way, Argentina joins the world and opens the doors to all those who seek new challenges in our country, ”Santos said.
During three days, government tourism authorities, businessmen and numerous players in the sector will meet to discuss the development of different areas related to tourism, investments and international cooperation.
Since 2012 GTEF has been consolidating and exceeded 10 thousand attendees and more than 500 exhibitors from more than 80 countries.
GTEF will be an excellent showcase through which Argentina will present its tourism offer and investment opportunities aimed at the target audience. Likewise, the national delegation will participate as a speaker in several panels and conferences that make up the Forum and will have a stand in the exhibition hall where it will show typical Argentine products such as wine and gastronomy. On the other hand, business rounds will be held in order to generate strategic meetings and bilateral meetings, among other actions. It will be an international event where the Country Brand will have outstanding visibility during the three days of the Forum and in all the communication linked to said event.
