Winter Haven offers great attractions for the whole family

With countless lakes, theaters, art galleries and lovely restaurants, the city of Winter Haven is an important cultural center that deserves to be explored by travelers who want to know and learn more about Florida.
It is a must for lovers of water sports, extreme or not, since it has more than 50 lakes in this area. Winter Haven Watersports, for example, offers a full day of activities such as water skiing, paddle boarding, flyboarding, pontoon rental and jet ski rental. Attendees can enjoy free water skiing shows at Lake Silver, organized by the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team on the third Saturday of each month. In Winter Haven you can also find many dining options that offer seafood dishes, such as Harborside, well located on the shores of Lake Shipp and Harry's Old Place on Lake Ned. Thanks to the creations of the Brewery Grove Roots Brewing Co., Winter Haven has become home to some of the most delicious craft beers in central Florida.
Culturally, the city is quite rich, especially with the Winter Haven Theater, known as "one of the best community theaters in America." Galleries such as the Ridge Art Association and the Loft Art Gallery, among others, complete the Winter Haven art route. During the month of March every year, the Ridge Art Association organizes the Central Park Art Festival in Central Park in Winter Haven, with some of the most talented artists in the country.
