LATAM and Disney presented at the Guarulhos International Airport the aircraft specially designed to celebrate the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando
LATAM Airlines Group and Disney unveiled the “Stormtrooper Plane,” the company's plane designed in commemoration of the recent opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in Orlando, Florida. The event, which convened clients, press and special guests of both companies, was held at the LATAM Maintenance Center in São Paulo / Guarulhos, the heart of the operation of the airline group in Brazil.
During the launch, inspired by Star Wars, both companies surprised their customers with an all-inclusive trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Designed by the Disney creative team in conjunction with Lucasfilm, the exterior illustration of the "Stormtrooper Plane" was painted using 2,500 liters of ink for 21 days. The plane is a Boeing 777 with a capacity of up to 410 passengers, equipped with the new LATAM cabin standard, including the new Premium Business service with direct access to the aisle; a renovated Economy and Seats LATAM + cabin; The latter have more space, exclusive upper compartment and premium services, as priority boarding.
In addition to traveling in the “Stormtrooper Plane”, which will fly to destinations such as Orlando, Miami, Madrid, Frankfurt, Paris and London, LATAM customers can enjoy the 10 films of the Star Wars collection, which are now available in all the airplanes through the entertainment platform LATAM Play.
